I loved seeing the legends of the sidhe come to life in this book. Lots of twists and turns keep the reader guessing what might happen next. We get to see the heroine, Lily, come into her own as she is thrown headfirst into the hostile world of the fae. She must learn their strange ways if she is to survive amongst them and find out what happened to her beloved grandmother. The lines between good and evil become blurred. Even her reluctant hero, Troy, keeps dangerous secrets from her. One of the biggest questions that remains unanswered is whom can she trust? Yes there are some typos, but all in all the storyline was deeply engaging, the main characters intensely likeable, and the suspense keeps a person on the edge of their seat. This book does end on a cliffhanger, but I liked the tale well enough that it didn’t bother me too much. Would definitely love to read the rest of this series.
