Wish For Me is a supernatural fantasy romance. The main character, Glory, is stuck helping her mom and aunt clean out her grandmother’s house after she had passed away. Tucked away in a box in the basement, Glory finds a jeweled contraption that looks somewhat like a vase. Imagine her surprise when an incredibly sexy Djinn named Irving is summoned by it. Little does she know that as she is deciding on what she should wish for, a dangerous enemy is stalking them. Soon she will discover that everything is not always as it seems. Is Irving too good to be true?
I would first like to state that I received this free through NetGalley for an honest review. Despite the abundance of profanity (particularly at the beginning), I must say that I truly enjoyed this story. The plot was rather good and filled with numerous twists and turns, keeping one wondering what would happen next. The characters were likeable and well defined. The chemistry between the two main protagonists was spot on (at times quite humorous) and the passion was red hot. When the story came to a close I was left wanting more – I will certainly have to check out the next book in this series.
